To enhance environmental cooperation and exchange of expertise, Afaq Environment Company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Basel Convention Regional Centre for Training and Technology Transfer for the Arab States (BCRC Egypt), affiliated with the Basel Convention, with the aim of developing cooperation in sound environmental management of hazardous materials and wastes, capacity building, technology transfer, and environmental studies and consulting.
The memorandum was signed by the CEO of Afaq Environment Company, Eng. Amin Mohamed Ali, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hussein Kamel, former Minister of Environment of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Director of the Regional Centre.
This partnership embodies the keenness of both sides to enhance environmental knowledge, exchange technical expertise, and support the implementation of joint initiatives and projects, contributing to the elevation of environmental practices in the region.
