To promote collaboration in sustainability and climate action, Afaaq al-Bay’ah Company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Sustainability and the Carbon Footprint, aiming to expand areas of collaboration and exchange of expertise and knowledge, and to develop joint environmental and climate initiatives and projects.
The MoU focuses on several areas of cooperation, including the development and implementation of specialized training and professional programs, the preparation of sustainability reports and non-financial disclosures, measurement of the carbon footprint, and preparation of greenhouse gas emission reports, in addition to providing technical and strategic advisory in sustainability, climate action, and emissions reduction.
The areas of cooperation also include organizing conferences and forums and workshops and professional programs, developing joint initiatives and projects, and studying opportunities for expansion and cooperation within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab region.
The MoU was signed on behalf of Afaaq al-Bay’ah by the Chief Executive Officer Eng. Amin Mohammed Ali, and on behalf of the Institute the Chief Executive Officer His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Mustafa Al-Sharbini.
